In the November issue of the magazine Costruzioni, we present the collaboration with the construction company Zanni Srl from Vignola, for which we designed a custom plant for processing mixed demolition debris.
The plant layout was developed by our engineers and tailored to meet the specific needs of Zanni. In this case, the need for a second screen was studied to further separate mixed demolition debris and recover the highest percentage of cement, gravel, and milled asphalt from road works.
For our client, the plant is configured so that the mobile Bomber crusher UTM 1500-2 can be fed directly with a bucket. The UTM 1500-2 crushing chamber is 1.5 m long and is the largest crushing machine (excluding the Centauro series, which combines a tracked chassis and a screen).
The mobile Bomber UTM 1500-2 is a mobile crusher that is used as a fixed machine in Zanni’s plant; many clients often prefer the versatility of this solution, also because technologically, the crushing process is the same as that of a fixed plant.
By recovering cement, gravel, and a percentage of milled asphalt from road works, Zanni produces four types of material: a stabilized 0/30, a 30/40 gravel, a 40/50, and a 50/70 (used in construction). Production varies because the material comes from excavation and is inherently heterogeneous. What remains stable, however, is the high quality of the product: using our plants produces truly clean material.
Our plants stand out for:
- low dust emissions
- tailor-made design to meet customer specifications
- silent operation, suitable even for urban sites
- automated operation via an onboard PLC computer
- fully electric power supply
