In the prestigious setting of Asphaltica 2024, we had the pleasure of presenting an important strategic move for CAMS: the acquisition of Malavasi G, a company specializing in the manufacture of machinery for the road sector.
This acquisition represents an important link between tradition and innovation, and aims to strengthen our offering for the processing of sustainable road pavements.

The history of Malavasi G
Founded in the early 1960s in the province of Modena, Malavasi G began in the metalworking sector and later specialized in road construction machines.
Thanks to the cohesion among its production, technical, administrative and sales teams, it has managed to expand and establish itself internationally, with machinery sold in over 30 countries.
Over its 40 years of experience, Malavasi G has developed patented equipment such as hydraulic extensions, telescopic screeds for pavers and Pavijet mini pavers, able to offer innovative solutions for road works.
An acquisition looking to the future
With the acquisition of Malavasi G, CAMS aims to preserve and further develop the tradition of technical and artisanal excellence that has distinguished the Modena-based company.
“For us, it is a great satisfaction to have acquired a company like Malavasi G; we have always appreciated its artisanal character and the care for every single detail, as well as its knowledge of the road sector,” explains Andrea Trentini, engineer and Sales Director at CAMS — Our company will do its utmost to continue its tradition while further increasing its market presence”.
Pavijet MG7 Super: the compact hydraulic asphalt paver
At Asphaltica we unveiled the Pavijet MG7 Super (link to https://malavasig.com/it/macchine-stradali/vibrofinitrice-stradale-pavijet-mg7-super-marcia-avanti/), a new road paver patented by Malavasi G that combines compactness and versatility.
This model enables the laying of hot and cold asphalt, concrete, sand and aggregates for sidewalks, parking areas and cycle paths. Thanks to its compact dimensions, Pavijet MG7 Super can operate in confined spaces, overcoming obstacles such as signage and traffic signs, delivering efficient and precise paving, and becoming essential for successful operations in urban contexts.

For us at CAMS, the acquisition of Malavasi G is an important step forward toward an ever broader and more innovative range of machinery for the road sector. By integrating Malavasi G’s experience and patented technologies with our vision of sustainability and innovation, we are committed to offering cutting-edge, effective and environmentally friendly solutions.
We look forward to building a greener future together and bringing even greater added value to our customers around the world!
